YellowScan at CUAV Expo Las Vegas 2024: Expanding Horizons and Building Strategic Partnerships
YellowScan had a strong presence at this year’s CUAV Expo in Las Vegas, showcasing its latest innovations and emphasizing its commitment to collaboration within the UAV industry. The event, known for gathering top players in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology, was the perfect place for us to highlight our ecosystem.
Showcasing the YellowScan Navigator and our product range
YellowScan’s booth at CUAV Expo Las Vegas drew significant attention, as we displayed our entire product range of fully integrated LiDAR solutions designed for a wide range of applications. We demonstrated how our technology continues to lead the market by showcasing the YellowScan Navigator during a demo on the first day of the tradeshow done by Frontier Precision. There was also a demo done by XER with the YellowScan Surveyor Ultra.
The importance of UAV manufacturers
This year, YellowScan products were showcased at 9 different UAV partner booths, including Freefly, Harris Aerial, Skyfront, Inspired Flight, C-Astral, Aurelia Aerospace, Arcsky, Xer, and Nokia (Partners booth).
One of the highlights of our time at CUAV Expo Las Vegas was our focus on building strong partnerships with UAV manufacturers. By working closely with leading drone companies, we aim to integrate our high-performance LiDAR systems onto UAV platforms, giving our customers even more possibilities.
The discussions we had at the event highlighted the industry’s growing demand for reliable, high-quality LiDAR data to support precise mapping and surveying. Through these efforts, we’re not just expanding our reach but also driving the advancement of UAV technology.

Alongside fostering collaborations with UAV manufacturers, YellowScan partnered with two major distributors, Frontier Precision and Volatus Aerospace, who showcased our LiDAR solutions at their booths, further expanding our visibility to a broader audience in North America. These distributors play a crucial role in ensuring that YellowScan’s cutting-edge technology is accessible to businesses and industries that rely on accurate and reliable aerial data.
While some distributors were exhibiting, others attended as visitors, and we were thrilled to see Duncan-Parnell (USA), Datum Ingenieria (Colombia), and GeoEarth (Mexico)! By working closely with distributors, we’re able to strengthen our presence in global markets, making our technology more readily available to clients worldwide.
