Demo Day

Demo day – Wellington, New-Zealand

March 21st Wellington Australasian Hydrographic Society

In collaboration with New Zealand branch of the Australasian Hydrographic Society, YellowScan will hold a live demonstration showcasing the innovative topo-bathymetric LiDAR, the YellowScan Navigator and topographic LiDAR, the YellowScan Surveyor Ultra.

The goal of this demo is to showcase these high-tech tools in a real working environment and to show how easy it is to generate topographic and bathymetric data with LiDAR systems.

The YellowScan Navigator represents a significant advancement in bathymetric mapping, resulting from years of dedicated research and engineering excellence. At its core lies a sophisticated fusion of technologies that redefine underwater terrain mapping, combining exceptional compactness, performance, and ease of use. Specifically designed for mapping shallow waters, where traditional techniques, such as sonar on boats, face navigation safety concerns, the YellowScan Navigator has demonstrated effective functionality down to 20 meters in optimal conditions. Furthermore, it produces 3D digital models of rivers or seabeds with an accuracy of 3 centimetres.

With its 360° field of view, the YellowScan Surveyor Ultra answers vertical mapping and mobile mapping needs when combined with the YellowScan Fly & Drive pod. Expect exceptional vegetation penetration thanks to this system’s 32 laser beams.
